Project Overview
The project focused on redesigning Vila Vita Parc’s Careers Platform to create a more structured and engaging experience for candidates. The work explored the full recruitment journey, from discovering opportunities and navigating job categories to registration, application, and interview scheduling. Alongside the UX improvements, the project established a more cohesive visual and interaction system across the platform.
Challenge
The main challenge was to identify friction across the candidate journey and create a simpler, more coherent experience. The existing platform presented complex navigation, inconsistent layouts, and unclear information hierarchy, making it harder for candidates to find relevant opportunities and progress through the application process.
Starting Process
The project began with a roadmap to align the different stakeholders and define the main stages of the redesign.
I then conducted a comprehensive review of the existing experience, analyzing key pages, application flows, communication touchpoints, and available features from a candidate perspective. This helped uncover recurring issues across navigation, information hierarchy, visual consistency, email communication, and application processes.
These findings established the main areas of focus for the redesign, providing a clear foundation for creating a more structured, consistent, and engaging candidate experience.
Benchmarking
A visual benchmark was conducted across leading career platforms to identify effective patterns for navigation, job discovery, listings, and candidate flows.
The analysis highlighted key opportunities for the redesign, including clearer navigation, more scannable job listings, stronger CTA hierarchy, progressive disclosure across longer processes, and more consistent interaction patterns throughout the experience.
Information Architecture
The information architecture was restructured to create a clearer and more logical hierarchy across the Careers Platform. The proposed structure separates job discovery, candidate account management, company information, and supporting content, making key information easier to find and navigate.
Task Flow
The task flow mapped the key steps from job discovery and application to interview scheduling. It helped identify the main interactions, decision points, and potential friction across the recruitment process, providing a clearer structure for the redesigned experience.
UI Kit
The UI Kit was created to bring consistency across the platform, defining a reusable set of colors, icons, buttons, form elements, cards, and progress indicators. These components established a cohesive visual language while supporting clearer interactions and a more scalable design system.
Visual Design
The visual design translated the new structure and UI system into a cohesive experience across the Careers Platform. The layouts combine clear information hierarchy, strong calls to action, and consistent visual patterns to make key recruitment tasks easier to navigate and complete.
